In recent years, alongside the diversity of students' personalities, the individual worries that they feel, such as about attending university, life, and their future careers, have also become more diverse.
Normally, they would talk to their friends, seniors, and family about their personal issues and worries, but it is thought that by talking about them to a counselor, they can find the clues to arrange and solve their problems themselves and thereby lead fulfilling lives as students.
The Faculty of Maritime Sciences has a student counselor (class teacher in charge) system for students to obtain counselling, particularly on personal matters, University matters requiring class coordination, or guidance on a career path in the future.
