ICASL 2013, Kobe, Japan
On Sustainability in Shipping and Logistics
(August 30-31, 2013)

ICASL is an annual international event devoted to shipping and logistics studies. It aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, policy makers, specialists, and practitioners working in port, shipping, aviation transportation and logistics. We are expecting a wide range of attendances from Asia-Pacific and other overseas regions to this coming event.

It is our great pleasure to invite all of you to the 6th International Conference of Asian Shipping and Logistics (ICASL 2013) to be held from August 30 to 31, 2013, in Kobe City, Japan. The Conference will be jointly organized by International Maritime Research Center (Kobe University) & the Korean Association of Shipping and Logistics, Inc.

The theme of 2013 conference is "Sustainability in Shipping and Logistics". Sub-issues are Shipping and Logistics in New Asia ; Solving the Shipping and Logistics Puzzle ; The Future of the Asian Shipping and Logistics ; Supply side response to global economic scenario.

We welcome the full-papers or the first draft on all aspects of shipping and logistics that are in line with the Journal's aims and scope.  For applying for attending conference, you can just notify the title and abstract of papers to Managing Editor: Dr. Hyuk-soo CHO (Non-Japanese, Email: ) or to Conference Secretary: Mr. Na Young Hwan CHOI (Japanese, Email: ) by the end of April, 2013.
