A visit by students of California Maritime Academy

On May 16th, students of California Maritime Academy (CMA) visited the Graduate School of Maritime Sciences of Kobe University. The main purpose of their visit was the enhancement of academic exchange between the universities and deepen the relationship. Professor Liu, the International exchange committee chair, gave a welcome speech and made a brief introduction on Kobe University and Graduate School of Maritime Sciences.
Following that, our students who joined the program in CMA last year guided the group of CMA to the Navigation Simulator and so on. Moreover, to promote understanding of Japanese culture, tea ceremony was held by our students as well. The participants enjoyed this opportunity and developed friendship.
