A Courtesy Visit by the President of Shanghai Maritime University, China

On May 20, a delegation from Shanghai Maritime University (SMU), headed by President Yu Shicheng, a partner university, and Director Wei Ruan of the Shanghai Seafarers Training Center, paid a courtesy visit to Kobe University Graduate School of Maritime Sciences.
The delegation introduced that a new campus is due to open at SMU this October and discussed the future of Maritime Education with Dean ISHIDA Hiroshi and Professor NISHIO Shigeru in charge of International Exchange.
