Advanced Manufacturing Workshop includes a cutting and grinding workshop, a casting workshop, a NC (computer controlled) machining room, and a precision machining research lab. Materials processing practical exercises are carried out so that students are able to experience the manufacturing process and study the relationship between design and processing technologies. The Workshop is also responsible for processing the various experimental equipment required for research activities in the Faculty and Graduate School of Maritime Sciences.
Please refer to Advanced Manufacturing Workshop website (in Japanese) for further details, including on overview of this facility and the content of its practical training.
